I got laid off on Friday... That's all I have to say about that...

I just wanted to say Thank you to everyone who voted.
Porn and I's son, Jagger, is 17..... he can't vote in this election but this election will have a profound effect on his life. The war, racism, his future as a young adult.
But he had no voice. No way of saying "this is how I want my next 4 years to go".
You all, we all, took the time to yell, kick, scream and let OUR voices vote for him and all young adults.

We've got our money now. We are going to hold on to it for a few day's to let things settle. I was hoping that we were close to an end but I heard that Citigroup bought Wachovia this morning.
Our next steps are going to be looking into banks vs. credit union and what's the best place to put our money (cd,ira,etc)

We have our kids college money in Wamu.
I'm scared to death that we'll loose it all.
I know that there is insurance up to a certain amount.
My mother-in-law has way more than that insured amount.
I'm afraid that if everyone freaks out (like I am) and takes their money our then it will be worse.
